Jewell Clark, 79, of Woodside Dr., Arcanum, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Heartland of Greenville.

Mrs. Clark was born in Wallins Creek, KY on October 15, 1934, the daughter of the late Britt and Hazel (Spurlock) Lawson.

She was a retired co-owner with her husband, Robert A. Clark, of the former Clark's Gas Station on State Route 49, Arcanum.

Jewell was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Clark, who died in 2004, Brothers Clarence, Hobart, Bill, and Ben, Sherman Lawson, Sister Linda Jones and Una Sharp.

She is survived by Daughters Bobbie (David) Pike and Annette (Jerry) Boolman both or Arcanum; Step Son Denny (Mary Ann) Clark of West Milton; Grandchildren Jenny (Joe) Freidman, Julie (Heath) Williams, Jason (Allison) Pike, Michelle (Steve) Ditmer, and Kaylee Boolman; 8 Great Grandchildren; Sister Alice (Robert) Keiser of Arcanum; Brother Britt (Nancy) Lawson Jr. of Putney, KY. Graveside

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Abbottsville Cemetery with Pastor Bill Edwards officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gospel Baptist Church, P.O. Box 14, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
