Antonia Terronez Perez, 81, of Silvis, IL, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 800 17th Street, Silvis. Visitation will be on Friday, June 27, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Recitation of the Rosary at 2 p.m. and another Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made for Masses in Antonia's name at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Antonia was born on May 12, 1933, in Silvis, IL, the daughter of Benito and Felicia Anguiano Terronez. She married Marcelo Perez on November 14, 1953, in Rock Island, IL, and he preceded her in death on March 31, 1998.

Antonia was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Silvis and a chairman of the food for the Parish Fiesta for many years. She received the Juan Diego Award and was an avid planner for the celebration for Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Antonia held membership in the Legion of Mary and Our Ladies Group of the Church.

Survivors include her children, Carlos (Pam) Perez, Silvis, IL, Annie "Ana" (Tom) Hendricks, East Moline, IL; grandchildren, David (Bernadette) Perez, Moline, IL, Elaine (Terry) Byrne , Davenport, IA, Andrea (Michael) Gryp, Silvis, IL, Laura-Ann (Eduardo) Nageia, N. Aurora, IL, Michael Perez, Silvis, IL, Ross Hendricks, East Moline, IL; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter, sisters, Gabriela Moreno, Jessie Vallejo, Manuela Munos, Mary Medina, Cruz Rivera-Cervantes, Delores (Richard) Esparza; brothers, Bennie (Belin) Terronez, Joe (Rebecca) Teronnez, Alvino (Lucy) Terronez.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 sisters, Exigia Terronez, Teresa Sierra, and Angela Ayala; 2 brothers, Lupe Terronez and infant Terronez; great grandson, Alexandro Nageia.
