William L. Acuff, 64, R. 5, died at 12:04 p.m. Saturday at the Bloomington Hospital.

He us survived by his wife, Grace Figg Acuff, and a daughter, Mrs. Warren Englebart, St. Louis, Mo.

Other survivors are four brothers, James and George Acuff, Ellettsville; Lee Acuff, Gosport, and Louis Acuff, of Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Carl Johantgen, 719 W. 1st St., Mrs. Rolla Eaton, 1323 N. Woodlawn, and Mrs. Chessie Medley, Stinesville; and two grandchildren, David and Linda Englebart, of St. Louis.

He was a retired employee of the Bedford Foundry, and a member of the Clear Creek Christian Church, the Eagles Lodge, Disabled American Veterans, and Veterans of World War I of the U.S.A.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Clear Creek Christian Church with the Rev. Richard Hittle officiating. Burial will be in the Clear Creek Cemetery, with V.F.W. military graveside services. Music for the services us being arranged by Mrs. Hittle.

Pallbearers will be nephews James and William Acuff, Robert Farmer, Walter Wynne, Rodger Stafford and Earl Siniard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Stansifer, Ed Bender, Lee Mathers, S .E. Bowman, George Snapp, and John McHaffey.

Mr. Acuff had lived in Monroe County all his life and was a former county commissioner of Monroe County.

Friends may call at the Day Funeral home until time for the services.
