RINGGOLD -- Madge L. Kennedy Grant died Thursday, April 8, 1999, in a local hospital.
She was 68. She was a native of Florence, S.C., and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Jimmy Outlaw, Alvie Ray and Tony Grant .
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Grant Sr.; two daughters, Barbara Bowers, Rossville, and Angela Grant Dulaney, Huntsville, Ala.; two sons, Clarence Grant Outlaw, Fort Oglethorpe, and Bobby Gene Grant Jr., Ringgold; three sisters, Helen Watford, North Carolina, Jean Courtney Kennedy and Patsy McDowell, both of Florence, S.C.; five brothers, Clarence Kennedy, Rossville, Mickey Kennedy, Rockingham, N.C., P.W. Kennedy, Bill Kennedy and Randy Kennedy, all of Florence, S.C.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Joe Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends all day today and Monday from 9 a.m. to the time of the service at the funeral home.
