Kenny was of Baptist faith and loved the Lord with all his heart.
Survivors include: wife, Tina Mitchell of Johnson City, TN.; mother, Evelyn Mitchell of Johnson City, TN.; one son, Tyler Mitchell of Johnson City, TN.; three daughters, Kirston "Booger" Mitchell , Dana Mitchell Lilly and Christina Iles all of Johnson City, TN.; five grandsons, David Darcy Gillette, Brady Gillette, Mason Gillette, Lucian Hodges, and Caiden Lilly; granddaughter, Mae Lilly (favorite granddaughter); five brothers, Paul Dixon, Earl Thomas Mitchell Sr., Charlie Mitchell, Gary Mitchell and Robert Mitchell; three sisters, Patsy Carey, Mary Stewart, and Carolyn Lewis; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
