CHILLICOTHE -- Nancy H. Embry, 76, of Chillicothe died at 10:55 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 1995, at her residence.
Born Jan. 29, 1919, in Carthage, Mo., to Walter and Pearl Davis Hubbard, she married Foster Embry Sr. on July 19, 1941, in Louisville, Ky. He died Aug. 3, 1991, in Peoria.
Surviving are one son, Foster Jr. of Hanna City; one daughter, Bonnie E. Russell of Chillicothe; and four grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation will be accorded and burial of ashes will be in Springdale Cemetery in Peoria at a later date. The family will receive friends at the deceased's home from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Wilton Mortuary in Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Foster and Nancy Embry Sr.-St. Francis Episcopal Church Scholarship Fund in care of Karl Taylor at Illinois Central College.
