Madill, Florrie Mae Ansley, 91, of Dade City, died Friday, November 24, 2006, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City. Born in Blanton, she was a 3rd generation Floridian. A pioneer Pasco family, she and her late Husband, Edwin L. Madill were instrumental in establishing business in this area, including Pasco Motors, Madill Furniture Store, as well as others, and were active community leaders. She was the founder of Madill Furniture Store in Dade City and ran the store until her retirement. After she retired she became a full time homemaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dade City. She was a former member of the Dade City Garden Club and the Dade City Women's Club. A beautiful lady, a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend, she will be missed by all those who knew her. Survivors include two daughters, Nina Sue Nash and her husband Gerald S., Sr. of Covington, Georgia and Carol Madill Lockey, and her husband, Dr. Richard F. Lockey of Tampa; three grandchildren, Nina Sue Casillo, Gerald S. Nash, Jr. and Richard A. Nash and his wife Jody.; five great grandchildren, Chelsea Casillo, Kailee Casillo, Rebeka Casillo, Hogan Lee Nash and Ansley Mae Nash; and by a cousin, Bill Clanton of Dade City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 5th Street Chapel, from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City with Rev. Al Brock and Dr. James Renault officiating. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, First United Methodist Church of Dade City or Blanton Methodist Church.
