Charles E. "Jumbo" Gray, 69, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 in Hillsboro.
He was born Sept. 18, 1944 in Clinton County, a son of the late Owen Gray and Evelyn Sanderson Gray.
Surviving are daughter, Melissa (Ronald) Davis of Leesburg; two grandchildren, Danielle (Scott) Loch of Highland, and Caleb (Kasey Jones) Davis of Winchester; great-granddaughter, Mariah Davis; four sisters, Mary Kellum of Wilmington, Marlene Palmer of Dayton, Shirley Magoch of Dayton, and Connie Whitehead of Dayton, and a special friend, Pamela Carnes Denney.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Ida Marie Edmond.
Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William, Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Nancy McCormick officiating.
