Willard Glen Crump, age 88, died September 3, 1994.

He was born September 14, 1905 in Herriman, Utah to Samuel Heber Crump and Olive Jeanette Butterfield.

He married Dorothy Blaney Boulter on June 11, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 11, 1979. Dorothy passed away on October 30, 1989.

He was a kind and loving man.

An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he was a high priest in the Mount Jordan First Ward.

He served for twenty-three years as a school crossing guard in the Jordan School District.

He was a big fan of the Jordan High School Sports program, attending many of their games and giving them his support.

He was known by everyone as "Grandpa Crump." He enjoyed gardening and loved his family very much.

He is survived by four children, Larry W. Crump and wife, Helen, Concord, California; Garry W. Crump and wife, Karen, and Billy G. Crump and wife, Pauline, both Sandy; and Bob G. Crump and wife, Rosemary, West Jordan; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Les Blayne Boulter; two brothers; and one sister.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff and workers at the South Valley Care Center for the kind and loving care they gave him during his stay there.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 1994 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mount Jordan First Ward Chapel, 8950 South 400 East, Sandy, Utah. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 South State Street (100 East), Midvale, on Wednesday, September 7, 1994 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services at the church on Thursday from 11:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Interment: Sandy City Cemetery.
