Obituary
Thomas Luisi of Yonkers died on November 19, 2002. He was 92 years old. Mr. Luisi was born on April 13, 1910 to Antonio and Christina Lamagna Luisi. He returned to Italy as a child and he was educated in International Studies and became a master tailor. Upon his return, he entered the US Army during WWII. He married the former Anna Locatelli on January 16, 1938 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Anna survives him and they were married 64 loving years. Mr. Luisi was employed as a tailor with Macy's in Herald Square until his retirement in 1975. Thomas was a member of the Columbus League on Park Hill Avenue and played the clarinet at many neighborhood events. His family said he loved his crafts and gardening. Four sisters predeceased him. Mr. Luisi is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation, Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass Friday, 10 AM, St. Bartholomew's Church. Interment, St. Joseph's.
