Feb. 7, 1936 - June 10, 2014

Mr. Nash, 78, Stockton, a retired mechanic, died Tuesday at his home. He was one of 16 children born to Frank and Sylvia (Tucker) Nash in Gladden.

He married Wilma (Burns) Nash July 5, 1960, and four children were born to the union. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1958.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Wilma Nash: two daughters, Paula Hayes and husband Larry of Herculaneum and Sandra Wideman of Festus: a son, Mark Nash and wife Suzy of Humansville: eight grandchildren, Joshua Hayes and wife Krystal, Emily Callahan and husband Zachary, Amanda Dickover and husband Ryan, Jordan Nash, Donald Wideman III, Alyssa Nash, Patrick Wideman and Rachel Orrell; two great-grandchildren, Lillian Hayes and Jacob Hayes; four sisters, Vallie Flanders,Ze;da Schafer, Trudy Wallis, and Janice Greenburg and husband Adrian; five brothers, Murl Nash and wife Wilma, Vertis Nash and wife Gloria, Curtis Nash and wife Aloma, David Nash and wife Kathy, and Darrell Nash and wife June.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Janet Marie Nash; and six brothers, Ace, Edward, Erwin, Arnold, Donald and Douglas.

A remembrance was from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Stockton Christian Church with services following at 11 a.m. under the direction of Brumback Funeral Home. Burial was in Caplinger Mills Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice Compassus or Stockton Christian church.
