Upon graduation he attended Eastern Connecticut State University. Reggie transferred to the University of Hartford to pursue a degree in business but after his interests evolved, he graduated from Springfield College receiving a bachelors of science degree, cum laude, on August 20, 2006. On and off throughout his college years, Reggie worked in the banking industry and also for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch as a court clerk. He was promoted to Bail Commissioner and after graduation gained a position as an Adult Probation Officer for the State of Connecticut, Manchester Office. Reggie enjoyed his work and took enormous pride in his role and always maintained a calm professionalism. He loved to travel and during his leisure time journeyed to exotic places including Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Dominican Republic as well as local spots like Miami and Key West, Florida. Often traveling to New York with his best friends, he lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every adventure. He especially enjoyed his annual trip to West Virginia with his childhood friend Jose. His quiet and humble personality was notable as was his dazzling smile and genuine kindness, loyalty, and devotion to his family and friends. He will never be forgotten and lives on in the memory of everyone he touched.

In addition to his mother Thelma, he leaves a sister, Nicole Chantel Anderson and a nephew, Javaughn Lewis Anderson, both of Hartford; three aunts, Evelyn Moore of South Windsor, Pearl Joseph of Windsor, and Doris Monroe and her husband Henry of Hartford; three uncles, Charles Anderson and his wife Georgia of Macon, GA, Samuel Anderson of Thomasville, GA, and Thomas Anderson of Bloomfield; and a host of relatives, countless friends, and acquaintances, especially Jose, Kelcey, Hopeton and his wife Rachel, Lamonte, Tony, Tonya, and Gina.
