DIED -At her home near Mandeville, Saturday, Dec. 21, at 3 o'clock a. m., Mrs. Arthusa J. Pitts, youngest daughter of Rev. Frank and Caroline Midgett, age 22 years, 11 months and 29 days,

Mrs. Pitts leaves a dear husband and a little daughter, ten days old, a father, and mother, one brother and two sisters, all of whom were present at her bedside, besides these many relatives and friends. A few hours before she died she prayed and help sing four songs, she was conscious to the last and died rejoicing in a Saviour's love. While we mourn for our loved sister, it is not without hope, for we shall meet again. She said she was ready and waiting to go. She was married at Enon church, Dec. 2, 1894, and expressed a wish to buried there, she was laid to rest Sunday Dec. 22, 1895.

Services were conducted by Rev. H. H. Beesom and Rev. C. F. Richards. Deceased has been a consistant member of the Hurricane Baptist Church for about twelve years having given her heart to the Saviour when a little child. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. M.P.

It is with much sorrow that we learn of the death of Mrs. L. B. Pitts, of Mandeville. She was formerly Miss Tude Midgett and was known to many of our readers and to know her was to like her.

She leaves a husband and a young child, a father and mother, brother and sisters and a multitude of friends who mourn, as for an irreparable loss. She was an earnest, practicable, everyday Christian with a heart that never failed of loving kindness and charity for all and hands that never tired of ministering to the comfort of others. THE HUSTLER extends sympathy to the relatives and friends.
