He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in the Korean War, a graduate of The University of Georgia, a 1964 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, and was a physician in Jefferson for 38 years, having started his private practice in 1973. His brother, Bill Crenshaw, preceded Dr. Crenshaw in death.
