BRUNO J. KASTEN

Bruno J. Kasten, 68, of 1208 Hamilton St., Manitowoc, retired railroad employe and veteran of World War I, died early Monday morning at St. Mary Hospital, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Kasten was born March 25, 1891, in the Town of Newton, Manitowoc County,son of the late Henry and Mathilda Rohde Kasten. He came to Manitowoc 30 years ago where Feb. 28, 1926, he married Helen McNulty. Before his retirement three years ago he was employed by Chicago and North Western
Railroad. A veteran of World War I, he served from July 15, 1918, until Jan. 17, 1919, as a private with 10th Company, 161st Depot Brigade. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the church and Catholic Order of Foresters.

Surviving are his wife, two daughters, three sisters, Mrs. John Goetz, Mrs. Reinholt Detjen and Mrs. Walter Wehrwein of Manitowoc and three grand-daughters.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
