Crystal Swanson, 56, Northwood, died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at home.
Crystal Hart was born May 22, 1942, the daughter of Trace and Elsie (Rux) Hart, in Northwood, where she graduated from high school in 1960. She graduated from Brown Institute of Broadcasting & Electronic, Minneapolis, in 1965. She worked for television station in Austin, Minn., spent five years working in several radio stations in Winnipeg, and also worked for the North Dakota State Employment Security Bureau in Bismarck before moving back to Northwood in 1979. She married Paul Swanson on July 7, 1982, in Northwood, where they lived on a farm.
She is survived by her husband.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer; a sister, Marlys; and a brother, Virgil.
