Mrs. Ann S. Thompson died at the home of her son, Nelson Thompson near Carlisle, Oct. 17, at the age of eighty-four. She lived a true Christian life in the Methodist Church and in early girlhood was strong in the faith. She was an intelligent and noble woman and was spared to live and do good in her second childhood, when God called her as his own to dwell with her dead ones in heaven. C.V.
