She was preceded in death by brothers, Geddings Beard, John "Bo" Beard, Lenwood Beard; sisters, Catherine "Kitty" Hall and Eloise Fulmer; a son, Mark; grandchildren, Kimberly Medlock and Ronnie J. Lewis; a son-in-law, Charles "Andy" Medlock. She was born in and was a lifetime resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a retired weaver with the Hickman Division of Graniteville Company after 43 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Warrenville First Baptist Church and the Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. She loved her family with all her heart. She also had a deep compassion for her fellowman; when they hurt, she hurt. She was a shop-a-holic, an avid fisherman, and she enjoyed vacationing in the mountains. She shall be greatly missed by her family and friends; however death is not the end, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home, where no more sad goodbyes are ever spoken. She has finished her journey and is now at peace with her maker.
The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery.
