Funeral services for Mrs.
Virginia Clay Miller, 86, of
Harper Road will be conducted
at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the
Rebecca Chapel Methodist Church
in Rock Creek
Mrs. Miller died at 6 p.m. Monday
at the home of a daughter, Mrs.
B. B. Chambers of Harper Road
following an extended illness.
Born in Dry Creek on March 4,
1873. She had been a lifelong
Resident of Raliegh County. She
had lived with Mrs. Chambers for
the past 10 years, and was a member
of Rebecca Chapel Methodist Church.
Her husband, J. B. Miller, preceded
her in death in 1941.
Survivors include two sons, Milton
of Seth, and the Rev. C. H. Miller
of Lynchburg, Va; four other daugh-
ters, Mrs. Dewey Cantley and Nrs. Ezra
Cantley, both of Rock Creek, Mrs. l. B.
Greene of Wakefield, Ohio; three
brothers, J. L. Clay of Rock Creek. W.
H. Clay of Montgomery, and C. R.
Clay of Pettus.
The body will be removed from the Calfee
Funeral Home at noon Wednesday
to the church to lie in state until the services.
