Rosemary passed away on June 20, 2014, in Tyler. She was born Nov. 2, 1923, in Wichita Falls. A lifetime Texan, she graduated from Vernon High School and Tyler Business College, then worked as a senior probation clerk for the United States Federal Court in Tyler for about 30 years before retiring in 1982.
She was preceded in death by:
* her sister, Betty June Gladney
* her husband, Bill Griffin
* daughter, Diana Swinney
* son, George Swinney
* great-grandsons, Dakota Swinney #112929061 and Caleb Weaver #20119200
She is survived by:
* 2 sons, Tom and Robert Swinney
* daughter-in-law, Elaine Swinney
* 5 grandchildren
* 10 great-grandchildren
