Horten Cuevas, 59, Route 1 Box 830, Pass Christian, Standard Community, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 1986, in Pass Christian.

Mr. Cuevas, a lifelong resident of the Standard Community, was a former employee of Cuevas Floorworks and was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Mrs. Treselee Rester Cuevas, his parents, Albert and Rachel Deschamp Cuevas, and two brothers, Oliver Cuevas and Robert Cuevas.

Survivors include a son, Wilborn Louis Cuevas of Standard; three daughters, Mrs. E.J. (Patricia Ann) Martin and Mrs. Bill (Brenda Carol) Peterson, both of Standard; and Mrs. Timmothy (Treselee Darling) Carco of the Ladner Community; four brothers, Holliman "Joe" Cuevas, Dorty Cuevas and Barney Cuevas, both of Standard; Donavon Cuevas of Lizana; five sisters, Mrs. Alphoncine Saucier, Mrs. Elsie Cuevas, Mrs. Elena Head, and Mrs. Mattie Mae Ladner all of Standard, and Mrs. Eva Mae Necaise of Ladner; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be after 9 am today at the family residence. A procession will leave the residence at 12:45 pm Monday and will go to Wolf Creek Baptist Church for services at 1. Burial will follow at Wolf Creek Cemetery. Riemann Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
