Mrs. Mary Emma Trimmer, 74, died Sunday morning at 1 o"clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Georgie Kohler, New Oxford from a heart condition.
She was a daughter of the late Eli and Hannah (Gatts) Heagy and was a native of Adams County where she lived her entire life. She was married twice. Her first husband was George F. Pittenturf and her second Charles Trimmer, both of whom proceeded her in death.
Surviving are the following children: Harry Pittenturf of Ohio; Cletus Pittenturf of York Springs; Mrs. Roger Sterner of York; Mrs. Georgr Kohler of New Oxford, with whom she made her home; five step-children: Robert Trimmer of New Chester; Mrs. Ray Hoffman of East Berlin; Mrs. William Decker of Biglerville; Mrs. Susan Miller of Goldsboro; and Mrs. Ray Musser of Reading; two brothers: Harry Heagy and Clyde Heagy, both of Harrisburg; one sister: Miss Lottie Heagy of Los Angeles, Ca.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services from the Kohler home Thursday, conducted by Rev. George E. Sheffer, New Oxford. Interment in
Heidlersburg Cemetery.
