U.S. Veteran Royal F. Wyeth, April 22, 1907 to Oct 16, 1997, 90, formerly Oceola and Nevada, died Thursday in Bucyrus Community Hospital. Born in Marion, he was the son of Florin Royal and Marselle Allen Wyeth. He was married in January 1932 to Hallie Mae Via, whe preceded him in death March 17 1965. He was married July 5, 1968, to Mary A. (Peg) Smith, she died March 21, 1991. Surviving are three sons, Dick of Nevada, Florin of Bucyrus and Francis of Sycamore, two stepsons, Clyde Thompson of Columbus and Herman Thompson of Chesapeake, Ohio, and two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Carole) Scott of North Robinson and Marselle Margraff of Columbus. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 11 stepgrandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a brother, Harold Wyeth of Pleasantville. He was preceded in death by two sons, Harold and Wilson, a stepson, Joe Thompson, four grandchildren, three brothers, William, Scott and Richard, and one sister, Helen. Mr. Wyeth was an independent truck driver and did maintenance work for Tod Township for many years. A Navy veteran of World WarII, Mr. Wyeth loved the outdoors where he hunted and enjoyed fishing as hobbies. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Lucas Funeral Home, Nevada.
