Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund. Mr. Copeland died February 7, 2001 in the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston. Born in Ehrhardt, December 24, 1929, he was the son of the late Jacob Williams Copeland and the late Pattie Miley Copeland. He was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He retired from the Savannah River Plant, Laboratory Department. Surviving are his wife, Helen Stanley Copeland, Ehrhardt; son Patrick W.
