JEFFERSON - Timothy Scott Nix, 25, died Saturday, March 28, 2009.

Born in Jackson County, he was the son of Connie Lynn and stepfather, Mike Lynn, and the late David Hall. He was a 2003 graduate of Jefferson High School, owner of XXX Fencing Company, and a member of New Beginnings Pentecostal Outreach. Mr. Nix was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronnie Nix; and grandmother, Sara Phillips.

Survivors in addition to his mother and stepfather, include his wife, Brandy Nix; daughter, Carly Nix; sister, Ashley Samples; stepbrother, Jamie Lynn; and grandmother, Virginia Nix.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Norris officiating. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson. Serving as pallbearers will be members of the 2003 Jefferson High School Wrestling Team. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 1, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scott Nix Memorial Fund, c/o Community Bank and Trust, 71 Memorial Dr., Jefferson, GA 30549.
