On June 14, 1940, Eva-Rae was united in marriage to Gerhard Johnson at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1991.
Eva-Rae was an Iola High School Graduate and then received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. She taught High-School for many years in Wittenberg, Elderon, Elk Grove Village, IL, Antigo, and retired from Edgerton, WI. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wittenberg and WELCA as well as a Homemakers Club. Eva-Rae enjoyed the time spent with her family.
Survivors include a son, Richard (Carla) Johnson, Janesville; daughter, Anne Johnson, Wittenberg; two grandchildren, Brenna (Eric) Page, Caile (Kelly) Fenrick and two great-grandchildren, Ryley and Connor Page.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eva-Rae was preceded in death by a son, Peter and sisters, Ardale Flint, Grace Klarkowski and Nellie Elizabeth Guerin.
