Mary R. Duvall, 84, 200 Lynn St., Palestine, and formerly of Greenville, died at 11:25 a.m. April 17 at Wayne Hospital.
She was born Jan. 4, 1915, in Miami County, daughter of Perry and Laura (Shafer) Greer. Also deceased are her husband, Herschel A. Duvall, who died Oct. 20, 1968; two sister, Thelma Greer and Mabel Irene Schneider; and four brothers, Chester, Arthur, Robert and Sam Greer.
She had formerly worked at Sheller Globe in Union City for 30 years.
Surviving are one son, Jim H. Duvall of Greenville; a daughter, Ramona Wise of Palestine; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 12 great – grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Everett and Gerald Greer, both of Greenville and Charles Greer of Union City.
The funeral is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, with the Rev. Michael Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Tri-Village Rescue Squad.
