JOHNSTON — Chester Arthur Johnston, of State St., Gasport, N. Y. died Tuesday, March 14, 1967 at the Ransomville General Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Sarah Jane (nee Bowman). Two sons and one daughter, Kimball A. Johnston, Lockport; Chester J. Johnston, Orangeport; and Mrs. Roger (Jane) Rice, Gasport. Also one foster daughter, Mrs. Margaret Vint, Fla. Nine grandchildren and four great - grandchildren. One brother and one sister, Porter Johnston, LaSalle, N.Y. and Mrs. Gertrude Crocker, Olean. Several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at The Gaul Funeral Home Inc., 263 East Ave. where the funeral will be held Friday morning at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery. Lockport Lodge No. 73 F&AM will conduct services Thursday evening at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
