Cordelia Mae Clark was born on January 24, 1915 in Eagle City, Oklahoma. She was the fourth child born out of eight children to Walter Clark and Mary Margaret Rollins-Clark. The family lived in Eagle City, Ok. until 1920. Then the family moved to Watonga, Ok where they farmed and sold milk door to door. In 1930 at the time of the great depression her father Walter sold the farm and moved his family to Webster City, Iowa. The family stayed with friends at that time. It was at this time that Cordelia met a real nice looking young man named Stanley Adams, wearing cowboy boots and hat. Stanley helped drive the family to Oregon.
Cordelia and Stanley were married in Dallas, Oregon on September 27, 1931. The couple lived in Tillamook, Oregon. Stanley and Walter Clark worked on a small farm and delivered milk to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. After a while Cordelia and Stanley along with the rest of her family moved to Jefferson, Oregon area. There Stanley and Walter Clark rented a small farm.

It was there on Easter Sunday that their first child was born, Minnie Louise.
From there Stanley hitched up a covered wagon and two horses, all of their belongings, Cordelia and baby Minnie and from Marion, Or. headed for Sisters, Oregon over the Santiam Pass where they lost one horse and Stanley had to make the wagon over so one horse could pull the wagon. After reaching Sister's they lived in a cabin on the Bailey Ranch. From there they moved to Vida, Oregon. Then they moved back to Marion, Oregon were they lived for many years. It was in this area that six more children were born. Dorthey in Turner, Merlene in Stayton, Mary, Betty and Walter in Salem.
The family moved to Lincoln City and lived on Devils Lake. Cordelia worked at a sandwich shop for a while. Later the family moved to Fruitland, Idaho. The family worked in the orchards and in the fall moved back to Webster City, Iowa. They lived on Stanley's parents farm W.D. Adams. At that time Cordelia worked at the poultry factory. After a couple of years the family moved back to Fruitland, Idaho and again worked in the orchards. In the late 1940's the family moved to Council, Idaho and then to Mesa, Idaho and worked in the orchards and sheds. Then the family moved back to Weiser, Idaho where Stanley worked for the Thorson Ranch Bar 7X. They picked cherries on Mann Creek to pay for their first refrigerator. Around 1954 they moved to Day Road in Weiser and Cordelia went to work for Ore-Ida Foods in Ontario, Oregon. She car pooled with other ladies from the Weiser Area for over 20 years. In 1956 Cordelia and Stanley had their tenth child Ruth. They bought a small acreage in 1962 in Weiser were they settled for the rest of their days. After her husband Stanley passed away in 1972 Cordelia moved to Ontario, Oregon so she would be closer to her work at Ore-Ida Foods. She worked there for 27 years. After she retired she returned to her home to her little acreage in Weiser.

She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley H. Adams, Weiser, Idaho; twin baby girls born in Vida, Oregon. They are buried at the Lourel Grove Cemetery, Springfield, Oregon.
