Many thanks to Find A Grave contributor Will Motsinger who offers this advice about Zimri Smith's burial -- suggesting that the death certificate may be wrong in saying Zirmi was buried in Blanchester:
"Sir: I don't know what to tell you on this memorial # 131657176. He is not listed in any of the records for this cemetery. I can only speculate as to why. I know of at least two other individuals in the cemetery that were cremated & the ashes were placed here with out notifying the cemetery. Both were done by family members.
"The local Historical Society spent 10 years compiling the list of burials from the original plat books, & field checking each entry. In the process they found some that were claimed to be buried here from death certificates, or obituaries, but were actually found buried elsewhere. Possibly he fits into one of these categories?? That's the best I can tell you at this point."
