DIED IN KANSAS CITY

Phillip Squire Branstuder, 76, died at the General Hospital at Kansas City, Wednesday, January 23, 1952, the body was brought to Brunswick and at two o'clock Saturday afternoon, January 26, Pastor Cecil Finfrock conducted funeral services at the Heisel Funeral Home in Brunswick and the body was buried in the cemetery at Sumner.
Mr. Branstuder, son of Squire and Margaret Branstuder, was born at Quincey (sic), Illinois, October 25, 1875. He spent most of his life in Chariton County. About a year ago he moved toKansas City. He had been in failing health for several years.
He was united in marriage to Clemmie Mae Utley and to this union were born ten children. His wife and two sons preceded him in death. The surviving children are: Mrs. Margaret Hendrix, Kansas City; Mrs. Nana Belle Molloy and Mrs. Flora Dunn of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Helen Pearce, Watsonville, California; Mrs. Otto Sharp, St. Joseph; George and Jimmie Branstuder of Kansas City, and Bennie Branstuder, U. S. Air Corps, of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Eighteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive as do two brothers and one sister who are Doan Branstuder of Hale and James Branstuder of Gravette, Arkansas, and Mrs. Belle Lentz of Brunswick.
He was a kind and devoted husband and father and will be sadly missed by all his relatives and friends.
