A Mass of Christian Burial for Anne M. Wawro, a retired licensed practical nurse, will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 27th Street and Independence Avenue, after prayers at 9 in M.J. Colucci & Son Funeral Chapel, 468 19th St.
Mrs. Wawro, 65, of 17th Street, was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday (Sept. 17, 1995) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after apparently suffering a heart attack.
A native of Niagara Falls, the former Anne M. Patti attended the practical nursing course at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston and became a licensed practical nurse in the 1950s. She worked at Mount St. Mary's for 42 years until she retired in 1992.
Survivors include two brothers, Anthony and Thomas Patti.
