Kenneth "Kenny" Carson Cloniger 59 of 1349 Filbert Hwy passed away Thursday June 14, 2014 at MUSU in Charleston.

A memorial service will be 2p.m. on Sunday June 22, 2014 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Dunn and Rev. Wallace Tinsley officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 21, 2014 from 5-8p.m. at Spring Lake Country Club in York.

Kenny was a son of the late James C. Cloniger and Nan Carson Cloniger. He was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and was a turf technician for Greenville Turf and Tractor. Kenny loved his family working in his yard, and was dedicated to the golf industry. having spent a lifetime in and around the game he loved.

He is survived by wife, Cathy Templeton Cloniger of York S.C. daughters, Kerry C. Nimmons(Josh) of Seneca, SC, Cayce c. Dowling(Jimmy) of Due West SC, sister in law, Robbie Cloniger of Gastonia NC and two grandchildren. Atleigh Grace Nimmons and Jackson Nimmons. In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Cloniger and his sister, Mary Jo Bunn.
