Surviving are his best friend and caregiver, Madelyn Knuth of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Denise Garrecht of Jackson, Mich. and Michelle (Doug) Derdowski of Williamston, Mich; two sisters, Marcia O'Connell and Lisa Rosa, both of Jackson, Mich; and grandchildren, Andrew, Allie and Ashley, all of Jackson, Mich., and Laila of Williamston, Mich.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, At C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with calling from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Father Joseph Gaughan officiating. Calling also from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2014, at the funeral home.
