GREENVILLE – Jerry Darnell Flowers Sr., 60 of Greenville, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Kindred Maple Manor in Greenville. Mr. Flowers was born November 23, 1953 in Daviess County, where he worked as a utility worker for the Daviess County Board of Education. Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his daughter, Jerrita McLain; parents, Leonard and Mary Flowers; brother, James Lewis.

Survivors include his wife, Carletta Bard Flowers; sons, Jerry (Keena) Flowers Jr. of Owensboro, Fazon Flowers of Greenville, Cameron Flowers of Greenville; daughter, Barika Flowers of Sardis, Mississippi; grandchildren, Brooklyn Sutton, Ke'shawn Flowers, Na'Laiyah Holloway, Kaylee McLain, Destiny McLain; brothers, Charles Flowers, Clarence Tapp both of Owensboro; sisters, Dorothy Crowe and Shirlene Lewis both of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. Terrance Minor officiating. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation for Mr. Flowers will be at 5:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2014 at the church.
