GREENWICH -- Arlene Coletta Ellis, 89, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Mercy Hospital of Willard, after a long illness.
Mrs. Ellis was born January 11, 1917, in Greenwich, daughter of the late, Arthur Hackett and Grace Marie(Markham) Forsythe. She lived in Greenwich most of her life, having resided in Jackson, Mich. from 1940 to 1944. She was a 1935 graduate of Greenwich High School. She was a member of Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church in Tiro, Ohio.
Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband of 65 years, Leland C. Ellis; two daughters, Diane (Robert) Norris of New Washington and Jeanne (Jack) Bennett of Mabelvale, Ark.; three sons, Kenneth (Jennette) Ellis of Enon, Ohio, Richard Ellis of Port Clinton and Steve Ellis of Chandler, Ariz..
Friends may call 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Ralph Kusserow of Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church will officiate and burial will follow in Edwards Grove Cemetery in Greenwich.
