Captain Charles Bryan Snapp, son of Bryant and Lillie B. Williams Snapp, died of Non-battle causes near Leipheim, Germany on June 5, 1945. Captain Snapp was piloting a L-4H Piper Grasshopper at the time of the accident (Unknown) that took his life.

Captain Snapp served with the 455th Bombardment Squadron, 323rd Bombardment Group, 9th USAAF as a B-26 Pilot and had been with the unit from sometime in 1943. First based in England then France and finally Germany.
