Ruby B. Baker, 85, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997. She was born June 9, 1912 in Evansville, IN. Ruby was active in the Rescue Mission for many years. She attended the Graham Emmanuel Baptist Church for many years. Ruby is survived by daughter, Sheri Presba, Federal Way; sons, Don, Graham, Ron, Spanaway and Tilford, Tacoma; sisters, Pearl Bitz and Louise Humphrey, both of Evansville, IN; brother, Paul Pfingston, Tacoma; 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband and a son. Viewing will be Sunday, 11am-5pm at Fir Lane Funeral Home. Services will be Monday, Nov. 24, 11:00 am at Fir Lane Chapel. Interment to follow in Fir Lane Memorial Park.
