Martin Wayne Carter, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2014. He was born November 7, 1946 in Frankfort, Indiana, son of the late Clifford and Mary Lee (Galvin) Carter.
Martin worked as the manager of Ponderosa Restaurant. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tawnya Carter; 4 daughters, Debbie Carter of Lebanon, Indiana, Kristi (husband Dave) Willig of West Harrison, Indiana, Lacie Carter ofHarrison, Ohio, Nichole Carter of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; brother, Joe (wife Carol) Carter; sister, Deborah (husband Bob) Binkowski; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mary Lee Carter.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 10am to 2pm at the Bright Providence Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will follow at 2pm.
Interment will be in the Gibson Cemetery, Bright, Indiana.
