Jody Ann Zimmerman, age 53, of Massillon, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Massillon on April 16, 1960 to Lester and Bonnie (Kiko) Parr. Jody had a love for making Indian headdresses and dream catchers. She was a kind and giving person who would always put others first. Her family and friends will always miss her quirky sense of humor and her ability to always make others smile.

Jody is survived by her children; sister; brother; eight grandchildren; nieces and nephew; great-niece.

The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Jody, especially her team, Kristy, Connie, Rebecca, Janice. The family would also like to thank Tara Bauer and the staff of Ink and Destroy Tattoo Studio for their participation in making her "perfect day" memorable.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 1 p.m. at her sister's home (1309 Main Avenue West, Massillon, OH 44647). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
