Louisa Frier Wilcox, daughter of Henderson and Deliluh (Williams) Frier of Appling County GA, was married to Thomas Wilcox in GA on Feb. 14, 1828. In 1850 she and Thomas moved to Odessa Missouri leaving their two oldest daughters with family members in Coffee County GA. Louisa and Thomas list 11 children on the Oct. 1850 census for LaFayette County MO. Thomas and Louisa donated the original land for the Mt. Tabor cemetary stipulating that any Wilcox or family member could be buried there without being charged for a plot.
