In April thru May of 1906, Jacob was reported in newspapers as suffering from congestion of the lungs and by August was dead.
..The Brode Cemetery of Frostburg, MD was also referred to as the Hansel Cemetery and may be one and same as the Hansel Farm Cemetery. Located from Cumberland MD W. on Rt. 40, 4 mi. left onto High St., .2mi. then right onto Frost Ave., .2Mi left onto Rocky Hill farm road, bear right at old barn, follow this land .5mi up the hill and thru the woods .7mi.
