CAMBRIDGE - Ernest Welcome Larrick, 79, of Cambridge Route 5 died at 7:30 a.m. Monday in Guernsey Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
He was a retired miner and a member of First United Presbyterian Church. Born in Guernsey County Jan. 21, 1893, he was a son of David and Mary Morrow Larrick.
Surviving are his widow, the former Nettie Olden; five daughters, Mrs. Gladys McBride of Smyrna, Tenn., Mrs. Ruth Turner and Mrs. Dorothy Bennett, both of Cambridge, Mrs. Velma Hood of Columbus and Mrs. Shirley Tedrick of Hilliard; two sons, Delbert of Grafton and Paul of Columbus; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Fannie McMullem [sic] of Cambridge Route 5; and a brother, Hugh of Cambridge Route 4. Five brothers are deceased.
Friends may call at Bundy-Law Funeral Home in Cambridge 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Roy Hilliard officiating. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery here.
