MR. VINCENT P. TRAVERS

Mr. Vincent Paul Travers, formerly head of the Travers Rope and Twine Company, of this city, died Saturday of heart disease at the summer home of his son-in-law, Mr. Samuel Neidlinger, at Leonardo, NJ. He was in his sixty-eighth year. Until recently Mr. Travers was connected with the Emigrant Savings Bank. He was one of the founders of St. Joseph's Day Nursery, of New York, and was a member of St. Francis Xavier Alumni Society, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Friends of the Sick Poor. Mr. Travers lived in Upper Montclair, N. J., but formerly made his home in New York. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Catherine Lantry Travers; two sons, Mr. Jerome D. Travers, the noted amateur golf player, and Mr. Ambrose Travers, and two daughters, Mrs. Samuel Neidlinger, of Upper Montclair, and Mrs. George Cooper, of New York
