Judith Ann Hammond, 55, of Rensselaer, passed away on Thursday, August 23 at her home.
She was born November 24, 1945 in Rensselaer to Merle Willard and Minnie A. (Stowers) Hammond.
She was a lifetime resident of Rensselaer. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother, Minnie A. Hammond of Rensselaer, two brothers, Ray Dean (Eva) Hammond of Rensselaer and Howard "Bud" (Mary) Hammond of Rensselaer, two sisters, Alice Marie (James) Carr of Griffith and Wilma Arlene (James) Coley of Compton, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Jackson Funeral Chapel in Rensselaer.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, at 11 a.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home, with Pastor Dale Hetherington officiating.
Burial will follow at the Welsh Cemetery in Rensselaer.
