James R. Mowrer, 73, of Lancaster, entered into rest at home on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of May (Thomas) Mowrer for over 21 years.

James worked for Wal-Mart for the past five years.

He loved the outdoors and wood crafting with his wife.

Born August 24, 1940, he was the son of the late William C. and Ada P. (Groff) Mowrer.
