MATTHEWS RITES SET
Reuben B. MATTHEWS, 83, of 80 highland Avenue, retired B&O brakeman, died last night at 11:05 in the Uniontown Hospital.
Born in North Union Twp, he was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church, John Knox Class, the German Grange, Brotherhood of Railroad trainmen and the Junior O.U.A. M.
Surviving are three children: Mrs. Charles W (Yetive) ASHCRAFT of Uniontown; Mrs J Frank (Frances) MYERS, Canton Ohio, and Leland C, Mesa Ariz. Also surviving are four grandchildren : a sister, Mrs James HAGERMAN, Shady Grove and three brothers, James A of Smithfield, Dennis L of Shady Grove , and Silas C of Rochester, Pa.
Friends will be received today from 7-9 pm, Thursday 2-5 & 7-9, and Friday until 1:30 pm at the Andrew J Ferguson Funeral Home , 80 Morgantown Street. The Rev William J Siebert will officiate at the service. Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery
