I give the same to my children heretofore named.

I give to my son John Pentecost the sum of sixty pounds to be paid out of the money arriving from the sale of my estate.
I give to my daughter Jane Pentecost the sum of ___pounds also one feather bed and furniture to her and her heirs.
I give to my grand daughter Patsy Phillips the sum of 50 pounds to be paid by my executor out of the money arising from the sale of y estate. In case of her death before she arrives at the age of 18 years of married when she is entitled to her legacy the money to be divided among all my children.
I give to my grand _____s Kitty and Scarborough Pentecost the sum of 25 pounds each to be _____out of the money arising from the sale of my estate. In case of either of their deaths before the age of 18 years or married when they will be entitled to the legacy, the survivor to have the ____ _____ In case of both of their deaths their legasies to be divided among all of my children.
I give to my daughter Nancy Jackson wife of John Jackson my right and title to the claim of the tract of land in North Carolina on the waters of Turbush Creek on which they now live _____ ____ all the expenses in securing the title which I give her and her heirs forever.
It is my desire that Polly Pentecost and my son Richard Pentecost should have the use of the houses in which they now live and which is built on my land until my wife dies or marries then the land to be sold. Should Polly marry she is on longer to have the use of the house and neither of them is to clear my land.
I desire my executors hereby named and I hereby give them full power to do so. Should _____ tract of taxes on which I now live and which I lend to my wife during her natural life or widowhood together with the whole of my estate left to her in like manner. The ______ to be after her death or marriage and not before.
Also the remainder of my estate not before lent or given away and after the payment of my debts should be sold at such time as they may think most advisable, and the money arising from such___ as ___ together with the sum due me shall be equally divided among my children now named.Viz; Thomas Pentecost, William Pentecost, Betsy St. John, Patsy Dial, Richard Pentecost, Jane Pentecost, Polly Tucker, John Pentecost, Sally Harris share and share alike.

And lastly, I do appoint my friends Henry A. Watkins Thomas Gaines executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other will testament by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I set my hand and seal this 28th Day of August 1804.
