Mr. Roy Edward Cain, age 68, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014 at his Appleton residence.

Mr. Cain was a native and life long resident of Appleton, AL. He was an Ordained Baptist Minister, and a Master Carpenter. He was a retired Bridge and Road Crew Foreman for Cedar Creek Land & Timber. He was a member of Pilgrims Chapel Church. Mr. Cain was preceded in death by his parents, Elie Cain & Mamie Smith Cain; Brothers, Coy Lee Cain & L.V. Cain; Sisters, Mearlean Powell, Lennie Mae Barnes, Dottie Faye Blair, and Shirley Sessions; a Grandson, Emilio " Buck Rivera.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Cain of Appleton, AL; Four sons, Chris (Brooke) Cain of Appleton, AL. Shane (Shea) of Appleton, AL, Garry (Sharee) Cain of Moulton, AL and Anthony (Kelly) Cain of Auburn, AL; Two daughters, Vaniesa Cain of Appleton, AL and Melanie (Jason) Poulin of Waverly Hall, GA; Three sisters, Daisy Black of Repton, AL, Ruthie Moye of Monroeville, AL, and Pearl Hale of Brewton, AL; Twelve grandchildren, Colton, Kayla, Anah, Warren, Jesse, Ashton, Aimee, Michelle,Jonathan, Nikki, Matthew Logan, Gage; Four great-grandchildren, Carter, Norah, Sarah, Lily, and 2 on the way.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. Fred White and Mr. Harlon Ard officiating. Interment will follow in Cooper Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Craver's Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
