Irene Binam-Dickens, age 89, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, Otober 20, 2012, at Bristol Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center in Harrison.

She was born September 4, 1923, in Denver, Arkansas, the son of Aaron and Rose Ellen (Goodnight) Terherst.

Along with her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her first husband of forty nine years, Eli Binam; her second husband of seventeen years, Alvin Dickens; three brothers; and three sisters.

Irene was a member of Batavia Assembly of God Church. She was an LPN and had worked as office nurse for Dr. Oliver Wallace in Green Forest, Arkansas and at area hospitals and nursing homes.

Visitation was Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service was Monday, October 22, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Tollie Sutterfield and Bro. Glenn Crenshaw officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Bristol Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center and her guardian angel, James.

She was an awesome lady, very sweet, kind and loved her family with all her heart.
She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
